Yvonne McKague Housser (1898–1996), Canadian painter and teacher. Housser studied at the Ontario College of Art and later in Paris. She was an early Modernist painter specializing in landscapes and design. She was a founding member of the Canadian Group of Painters and The Federation of Canadian Artists. She was made a member of the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.rca-arc.ca/en/about_members/since1880.asp )〕 In 1954 she was one of eighteen Canadian artists commissioned by the Canadian Pacific Railway to paint a mural for the interior of one of the new Park cars entering service on the new ''Canadian'' transcontinental train.
